LAGOON WELLBEING

The salt-marshes erosion, the resuspension of sediment, and the consequent turbidity are caused by the mechanical type of fishing focused on the Southern Lagoon, the pollution of the water, and wave motion caused either by climatic events and anthropic activities also affected by the population flow and the tourism sector. With this project, we adopted actions that included NBS (Nature Based Solutions), limitations of some human activities, improving the connectivity and accessibility, water, and land interaction, introducing public spaces, and promoting local tourism.
